An NGO dedicated to women's lives

Non-governmental organization founded in August 2019, headquartered in Abidjan, Angré 8th tranche. ASEF-CI works every day so that every Ivorian woman can live a healthy life.

The Founding President

A midwife since 1999, she has made women's health the fight of her life

From 2008 to 2018, Mrs. KOUDOU worked in the gynecology ward of Yopougon University Hospital, facing gynecological cancer cases every day. It was this hands-on experience that gave birth to the ASEF-CI NGO.

Sessions in high schools and middle schools on women's cancers and preventive practices.

Free screening campaigns for women in cities and villages. Screening can detect precancerous cells, particularly those linked to human papillomavirus (HPV), responsible for cervical cancer and several other infections.

A 3-year commitment in the Mé region

ASEF-CI is rolling out lasting, multi-pronged action for the people of the Mé region, in Côte d'Ivoire.

Distributing clothes to the most disadvantaged families in the region.

Radio appearances

Appearances on local radio stations to raise awareness among as many women as possible, including in the most remote areas.

Awareness campaigns in schools across the region to reach girls from a young age.

Public displays

Awareness materials displayed in public places, to make the prevention message a lasting part of daily life.
